I arrived at the Union New Jersey location for the second day. I was expecting to see Mr.

Calvin and Stacy, but was greeted by Quashun and Mr Rose. I confess that I did not have a pleasant look on my face. In fact, I was praying to myself while I was approaching them both. I was disappointment that neither one of the previous managers was available.

I did not receive a call from Mr Calvin or Mr. Stacy on whether they got in touch with continential. Therefore; I found myself starting from the beginning.

Mr. Quashaun and Mr.

Rose immediately said how can we make the situation right. I gave them my keys, and the number to call continential. After speaking with continential the findings were my tire was out of warranty. Needless to say they both worked on the number to make sure that I left a satisfied customer .

were attentive to my concerns. This what you call world class service.

Disappointment

I arrived at the Union New Jersey location and was greeted by the manager Calvin. I explained to Mr.

Calvin that I was bringing my tire to be inspected. Furthermore, I told Mr Calvin that Continental sent me to this location. After sitting there for 45 minutes, the assist manager Stacy asked me what are they suppose to do with my tire. Apparently, there was some kind of miscommunication between myself and Calvin.

He was under the impression that I brought the tire from them, even thought I did mention, that from I was willing to chalk it up as a miscommunication.

Nevertheless, when Stacy went to check my tired he needed to call continental. Upon call continental they were close for the day. I was assured by Calvin and Stacy that they would reach out to continental in the morning to resolve this matter. No one never called me the next day.

In fact when I walked into the union location the next day it was all new people. Which clearly put in a bad mood. Not only did have to start the process all over again, I had to repeat myself.

This way poor customer services, they failed to provide the following:

L - listen to my concern

E - Empathy

A- assist me my issue

D -they did not deliver world class service

I believe both Calvin and Stacy need to be coached on customer service and follow back up with the customer,

Worst customer service

I called and made an order for tires this morning they told me sure we have them come in. I went in my car sat for an hour or more and no one even checked to see if they had the tires in stock until after that time. They were one short. So they sent me there over an hour without even checking for the tires. And then I couldnt get the tires. All this while workers in the store were doing nothing for that hour

Excellent work in the most timely manner. Manager Rolf Weiss showed me the bad cracks not very noticeable. Replaced the tires within 15 minutes. On a scale of 1- 10 I'd definitely give them a 10. Excellent Service on August 29,2021

STS Auto Tire - Almost a Theft
On May 10, 2021, I brought my car in for a NY State Vehicle inspection, the inspection was passed BUT the battery had failed, I questioned why was battery checked it is not a requirement for the inspection I was not given an answer, I informed the manager battery is under warranty 10 minutes later sticker was installed, and I was on my way to my battery dealer. Very unprofessional from management down

I called the day before to make sure that the part was in. The day before I was to bring my car in to have the Air compressor replaced. Well I got there and no part I was told the day I called it was in however the guy did not check the parts that came in 2 hrs waiting for the part to come in. Then I had to wait until the a/c guy put it in meanwhile he is walking around now its 11:30 and I had to be at work by 2:00 managers helper is very unprofessional give wrong info nor did he even check the part to see if it came in when I called..

Wow STS has done this to me so many times. I just went in 2 weeks ago to get my AC charged and 2 new tires. They told me I had a very tiny hole in the hose & my air might night stay cold long. It will cost me $695 to fix. I was waiting for them to mention an additional cost because they do it EVERY TIME! Now the last time I went to STS in Metuchen, NJ for a battery they tried charging me over $1,200 for everything under the sun including struts. I was told I need front & rear struts. I didn't get the rear struts & when I go to a different STS they don't mention anything about me needing rear struts when they changed my 2 rear tires. They are crooks and something needs to be done about this company robbing people!!

My experience in this mechanic shop was the worst experience i have ever had. All they do is take your money away. Instead of fixing my car they made it worse. They made me spent $400 on a piece that was suppose to make my car better but in reality it just got worse. I told the manager that if he could test drive it so he could see that it was not fixed, but he just said no. I had to go somewhere else to clean up there mess. I would never recommend this mechanic shop to anyone.

While the employees at this STS Tires and Auto facility seemed courteous and professional, recent experience have alerted me of the underlying malpractise at this location. While I've been using their service for oil change for over a year, they have always tried to sell me on other part replacements. Wear and tear is part of any automobile, but they seem to be aggressive in trying to make additional money. Recently when my spouse's car was dropped off for flat tires, they called and reported that the car did not start and needed battery replacement. While neither my spouse nor I encountered this issue, I decided to replace the battery as it was a couple of years old. When I picked up the car after the tires were replaced I noticed a mysterious sound which was never there. When brought back next day they wanted to change the bearings. At this point I suspected some foul play as it seemed too co-incidental. I took the car to another service station who mentioned that the tires were not properly installed and needed no bearing change. It has been working fine now. They had great reviews on their website which brought me to this place in the first place but I seriously doubt the source of this reviews after my personal experience. Avoiding this location from now on and wish to warn other unsuspecting customers from not falling prey by submitting this report.

Brake ripoff

they advertise a brake job for $69.99 then when you get there it goes up to $300.00 because they say drums are out of round and springs are no good but when I called about a normal price it was $178.00 plus tax even installing new drums at special price should only have price of drums added as they are already off to do the brake job to start with how can you justify this. very unhappy customer. by the way this was at sts in Sicklerville n.j.

Oakland NJ Friday July 31 2pm I had this scheduled earlier that morning for 2pm for a standard tire repair, slow leak. I said I have to leave by 3pm. they said no problem. I called ahead at 1:40pm to see if they were running late and that I had to be gone by 3pm with a 2pm appt. Again they said no problem come over. I arrived at 2pm Sat there with no action to work on my tire by 2:45pm. I got up and said I had to go. The manager Heather has this terrible practice of answering the phone mid sentence and helping the fool before finishing my conversation with her. Lost my biz.

RUDE/BAD SERVICE

Took my car in for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at. Mistake 1 and 2.

Joe the manager at the Metuchen location sold everything under the Sun to my husband. All I wanted was an oil change. My bill ended up being over $1000.00. UNREAL!

When I began to question all of the work that was done, and I do know what I am talking about Joe told me he wanted to speak to my husband only. As if I was some sort of ***. My car is worse now then it was it has a very loud vibration sound to it. First he told me the tires needed to be balanced.

Would have thought they would have done that. So I brought it back. Nope car is still loud as ever. Called and called wrote letters finally a regional manager called me.

Well that did not go well. They looked at my car again and began to pass the buck to my Auto body shop. They are now saying that when I had something replaced on my car in November from a previous place it there fault my car is loud. I can't even believe they would say that.

My car did not have this issue when I dropped it off the first time.

Just need my tire plugged... I guess because it's covered , there in no rush... Been here for an hour.. It's a 5 minute job.... Never will buy my tires here again.

Blown head gasket

went to local justice of peace and he heard the case, the 2 store managers were involved as well as the regional manager attended & LIED THROUGH THEIR TEETH, resulting in loss for me, but being a salesman I don't take no for an answer, I have contacted the Judge Judy TV Show to hear the case & attempt to shame them ( or myself ) on national tv, the tow truck driver as well as my mechanic will be witnesses as to what they saw & know, if they want to lie, I will fight them with truth. as my father always said " right is might "

went to sts in Bristol pa for tires, inspection & oil change, they put a cheapo oil filter that blew off and caused the gasket to let go, in court they lied their eye teeth off & I lost and am let with 1600.00 repair bill, stay away from sts tire centers, banner tire, mc cleey tire if you want the samething to happen to your car too, they sell Chinese tires that are so cheap they start to fall apart as soon as you leave, and any name brand is the most expensive price as compared to any other shop in the area
